Since half of Rex’s Ford Fairlane stories take place during the early ‘80s punk rock scene in LA, I thought it would be fun to revisit my chat with Pleasant Gehman about that period. This outtake from my interview with Pleasant is from Episode 4 of Rock is Lit, which features Janet Fitch’s novel ‘Paint It Black’, set during that time and place.
